Hi team,
Just wanted you all to know what exceptional work has been achieved over the
past week without any apparent dramas or stress attacks which has certainly
alleviated mine!
This
includes:
- An urgent hospital bed for a war widow who rarely spoke to anyone and has since passed away less than a week later who described it as ‘very comfortable thank you’.
- Another mattress exchange to the macmed ROHO for a lady with nowhere to go with more pain meds who described it as ‘heavenly’.
The supply of an urgent wheelchair and leg extension.
- Another bed issue solved with the supply of a bolster and bed extension.
Huge effort to solve a dilemma with a 45 minute window last week to deliver and install a hospital bed for a complex client.
The remainder of the week has been mild by comparison but believe the tech guys are doing some urgent repairs combined with a few deliveries tomorrow. Peter was able to service a bed and recliner from the past and advise the family in a sensible and clear manner about how to realistically proceed with their donated but worn out equipment! He even clarified a few queries about another supplier’s mattress overlay.
It makes my
work so easy when you know that the person at the end of the phone will action
any request plus keep you updated on progress via email.

The delivery
and warehouse team just carry on with all the logistics without a fuss so I am
very grateful as they ultimately need to put my requirements in to action.

For 22 years I had a battery car (Jim's description of his wheelchair). In 2006 I came across FLM. The minute I went in I felt so welcome. It was unreal. In the past every time my wheelchair broke down the people would give me a hard time, not FLM I am amazed every time I go in the staff are so warm they can't do enough for me. FLM are the best no question. FLM are the real example of positive people, service. All people who haven’t been to FLM, once you go you will want to go back.

I have been working with the Team at Fisher Lane Mobility now as an Occupational Therapist working both in the private and public health sectors across the past 10 years. I have been fortunate to work with Anthony, Kate, Nick (Fraser), Nick (Mavroudis) and Sean all of whom have provided a highly professional service both to myself and my clients/patients during this time. I have continued to be impressed by the commitment of the FLM Team to extend their product range and up-skill their knowledge.
