65km for Cystic Fibrosis
In last month’s newsletter we
shared the news that our very own Ben Colquhoun would be walking
with Team
Jacob in the 65km walk for Cystic Fibrosis this month. Well it happened last weekend and
it was a raving success. What a day!
Filled with people showing
courage, encouragement and love ❤️ over $100K raised with #teamjacob
contributing over $15K
of that total.
Huge love to all the beautiful volunteers & supporters who
supported and cheered Team Jacob to the finish line. A special congratulations
to Ben for inspiring so
many and achieving so much.
Sharpies Beer Run
On the weekend just gone, Sean
Redmond ran half marathon in the Sharpies beer run at the Pig and
Whistle Main
Ridge.
A 21km off road trail run attended by over 600 runners.
Sean finished in the top 40 for
his event and to say the least, thoroughly enjoyed a cool cleansing ale
at the
finish line.
Sean has inspired a number of
FLM team members to start running over the past 12 months and sets
an awesome
example of great health and getting moving. Sean will be running in the 100km
Surf Coast Rapid ascent Ultra Marathon in September this year. We’ll keep you
posted on his progress.
Great Work Sean!
